Bark & Bound is a small family-run business offering a safe and secure environment for dogs to run free of their lead.Booking a slot reserves the full park for your private use. If any dogs are still in the park when you arrive, please wait for them to leave before bringing your dog out of the car.On arrivalWhen you arrive the gate to the car park should be open. Enter the car park and close the gate. The car park has a four-foot fence surrounding it so it is your responsibility to keep control of your dog(s) when you have parked put dog(s) on lead and keep them on them until through the gate to the park, closing it behind you. If you are early ( more than five minutes ) you may enter the car park and close the gate behind you but only if the visitors-before you are still in the park. Do not allow your dog out of the car until the other party has left. It is your responsibility to then close the gate. You may then get your dog(s) and walk them to the park on the lead which you can only take off when in the park.It is very important that you please lift your dog’s poo.When leaving Put your dog on a lead before entering the car park. When the dog is securely back in the car open the gate leaving it open for the next visitor.Hope you enjoyed your visit.-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Based on the outskirts of Mauchline at the heart of Burn’s country, with lovely views and away from the hustle and bustle of the town.We have over 31/2 acres for your dogs to run probably one of the biggest in the area with a high fence surrounding the exercise. There is some agility equipment ( which will be increased through time ) there will also be a small dog and puppy play area.There is plenty of space for recall and fetch training. We have a path right around the park, this is ideal for training on lead and means can bring little ones still in buggies.We also have a picnic area for you to enjoy a bite to eat with all the family. When you arrive you can sign the visitors' book in *The Shack* and will also shelter you from the Scottish weather.The park was a field and has an incline in the middle. We have tried to make everywhere as even as possible, but there are still a few uneven areas which we will continue to work on, so keep an eye on where you’re walking. Of course, wellies will be required on wet days hopefully not too many of them, but this is Scotland! It is very important that you please lift your dog’s poo. There will be bags if you forget yours with bins dotted about the area, as it is such a big park sometimes you may miss the moment. The park will be checked regularly but if you have any concerns please let us know we will work hard to keep the area clean and safe for all the family.We hope to offer the whole family an enjoyable experience, not just for the dogs, but as a day out!Look forward to meeting you.
