Birkbeck's has been a well-known name throughout the Redcar & Cleveland area since 1948 when Mr Clarence Birkbeck founded the company, supplying and installing electrical goods to local people. Originally, the store was in Milbank Terrace Redcar, later re-locating to Station Road. Clarence retired in 1986 leaving his son Robert in charge for the next 26 years. Since Robert's retirement in 2012, his son, Steve, has continued in the family trade serving local people and bringing 35 years’ experience to his new store on West Dyke Road, only 100 yards from his grandad's original store. Birkbecks Electrical supplies, installs, maintains, and repairs a wide selection of appliances such as LCD, LED, UHD Smart tv's, Washing Machines, Washer Dryers, Tumble Dryers, Gas & Electric Cookers, Refrigeration, Vacuum Cleaners and more. Birkbeck's are a member of Euronics - an Independent Electrical buying group that purchases for all its members allowing us to keep our prices as low as possible. We are the area's leading electrical retailers offering expert and impartial advice on domestic appliances and TV products.
