If we look back to the 1970’s and compare the state of homelessness in Portsmouth with how it looks today, it’s frustrating to see the problems might look a little different, but they’re still very much alive. Our story starts in 1973 when a group of activists first worked together to form Portsmouth Housing Trust. It was an association founded on social justice; small, accessible, and full of spirit.
