Andrew and Sue Savery took over the First and Last Bistro realising a lifelong dream to run their own restaurant in the South Hams. They instantly fell in love with Devon and all it had to offer especially the rich natural larder of sustainable foods all around. This has allowed them to minimise their carbon footprint by sourcing local seasonal products wherever possible. The philosophy is straightforward one Simple, Rustic and Seasonal, traditional British food with a “twist”.
