In 1964 Peter Gillespie, who worked at the time for Hoover Ltd, saw an opportunity to provide a local service to look after a growing market in Hoover appliances, which then expanded into other makes, and finally developed into sales of new appliances. Our first shop was in Crawford Street Port Glasgow, which later moved to King Street, and operated there until March 2008.We have had several shops in Greenock over the years in Grey Place, West Blackhall Street, and Lynedoch Street. The business has been based in our current location at 31 Regent Street since 1985. Service Centre is an Independent, locally owned company who have been supplying electrical appliances in Scotland for 50 years. We have always believed in giving our customers good value for money and pride ourselves on a giving friendly and personal service to our customers. We offer a prompt delivery service and great after sales care.
