Visit us at the Wild Chesil Centre to discover Chesil Beach and the Fleet Lagoon, nationally and internationally important for wildlife. Our family-friendly visitor centre has displays about the unique wildlife, local history and world-famous Chesil Beach, the largest of its kind in the UK. Find out about the Fleet Lagoon, the largest tidal lagoon in the UK and one of the most important Marine Protected Areas in the country. A huge wild day out! Join us at our events, go exploring with wildlife backpacks, try a spot of birdwatching or see what’s washed in on our marine touch table. Enjoy breakfast, lunch or afternoon tea at the Taste* Café and visit our wildlife-inspired gift shop. During the spring and summer, you can also take a boat trip on the Fleet Explorer.
